It is so easy to simply say I believe and have faith in God but, it is harder to actually walk in that faith. With the struggling economy and people losing their jobs it is hard to have unfailing faith that God will provide. Rather than asking ourselves do I have faith maybe we should ask ourselves do I act faith?

What is unfailing faith? Well, unfailing faith is believing God will provide without really seeing the results. It is funny when you think about the fact that sometimes it is hard for us to believe God will provide the small things when He created the whole universe. Our God is mighty, victorious, triumphant, He is the I am and yet it is hard for us to believe that He can provide a job, money for groceries or gas and so on. Vitoria has been hit with the reality that the economy is not good but, that doesn’t matter because we are not of this world I belong to the kingdom of God and I WILL be victorious.

Act in faith and know that God is in control. Declare this over you life right now: I will walk in unfailing faith because I KNOW that God is my provider, sustainer, deliverer and ever present help in the time of need. Today I declare victory and prosperity over those areas in my life that are in a time of drought and just like Job I will not allow anything or anyone to waiver this unfailing faith that God is birthing in me right now. If you declared this in faith you have nothing to worry about and you now are walking in unfailing faith so you will have the victory through Jesus Christ.

“… so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.” 1 Corinthians 2:5

Peace for the New Year

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God ;on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I trust!”

Psalms 91:1-2

After the holidays sometimes it is hard to get back into school, jobs or even life. At the beginning of each year we make resolutions that we are trying not to break and we want to take advantage of the chance to start anew. Well, what better way to start the year than with peace. If we just took time to enjoy life and weren’t so stressed out all of the time maybe we could accomplish the goals we set for ourselves. In Psalms 91 verses 1-2 we see that the key is trusting God so that we can lean on Him. If you do not trust someone you are not going to fall into their arms. We must first trust God so that we can lean on and take refuge in Him. Once you have given God your worries and trust Him with them you will find peace. Today lay down everything at the feet of the Lord and trust Him with them. Don’t look back just leave everything at the feet of the king and then know that everything in your life will be stable through God so you can have peace.

Questions

Do you trust God with your life?

Did you lay everything down before the Lord today?

Are you at peace? Why or Why not?

How can you apply Psalms 91:1-2 to your life?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for taking the burden off of me. Help me to rely on you more and more. Give me a sense of peace today help me be reminded that you are in control and through you I already have the victory. Amen.

Hello Friends!

I hope all is well. Here at Vitoria things have been quite busy we gain at least one new student almost each day which is exciting. We are going to be at the studio laying the floor and painting this week. Next week we will start moving things in so if you would like to help give us a call. We are still auditioning for the company so if you would like to schedule an audition call 614-506-6555. God’s magnificence is constantly being shown to us through the people involved in Vitoria.

Last week my business partner and I were looking for insurance companies for the dance school. Without thinking about it I said the name of the man that I get my car insurance from. Now I only met him once and didn’t even know if he provided insurance for dance studios but something in my heart said contact him. So I did and sure enough he provided insurance for dance studio’s. He is a Christian, he offered us a fantastic rate and prayed with us. How awesome is God!

A week and a half ago, after deciding that I was definitely going to rent the space we now have, I began looking for equipment for the studio. One day after I did my bible study something told me to look on craigslist. I don’t know how many of you are familiar with this site but it is a mix between ebay and your local newspaper. About 15 min. after being on the site I found a lady who was a dance studio owner that was retiring. So she was selling all the stuff at her dance studio. WOW! I found tons of stuff from costumes to chairs for our studio. She gave me great advice and offered to come and teach sometime. Blessings are just pouring down and I am thankful!

God is truly good. As this dance school and company grows it will not be because of me or our wonderful staff but it is because of God we are successful. The victory does not come from me but from God. God is at work in this company and dance school. He has mighty plans for Vitoria. No matter how big we get we can never take credit because no human can do what God does. So when our new facility is finished I hope you will come out and see what the Lord has done!

Have a blessed day,
Artistic Director

When I was younger I imagined God as this big being who wrote a big book, too big to read, and gave commandments. Thou shalt not do this and that, I thought God was no fun and as a Christian I had to be boring and obedient. I thought if I made a mistake God would write it down and hold it against me for the rest of my life. It wasn’t until my late teens that I realized God is a loving God, he is my father, and I can have a relationship with him.

I am naturally a perfectionist so I used to try to live a spotless life. I approached everything with caution, I never wanted to make a mistake, and I thought God would like me better if I went about my life this way. That way of living became boring for me so I went through this short period of wanting to just have fun which was not wise either. God is a fun God, being a Christian isn’t boring or condemning. In fact Jesus himself said he did not come to condemn the world . (John 3:17) God wants us to have fun but he wants us to have wisdom. The great thing about God is he realizes that we will have times where we fall short but that’s okay he still loves us. ( Rom. 3:22-24) We aren’t expected to be perfect.

God doesn’t see you as you are he sees you as you can be. Even at your worst God sees potential and beauty.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Help me to imagine myself as you see me. Help me look past my mistakes and help me forget about perfection. Direct my steps forward Lord and incline my ear to your will so that I can walk in your will and not mine. I ask these things in the name of my Savior Jesus, Amen.I

If you haven’t accepted Christ into your life pray the prayer below.

Jesus, I want you in my life and I want to give you everything. I don’t want to carry the burden of sin anymore. I ask for your forgiveness, I repent of my sins. I want you to be the Lord of my life forever and ever, Amen.

If you want to learn more about Jesus or want to grow in your Christian walk call me at 614-506-6555 or e-mail me at Chelsea.Vitoriadance@gmail.com. God Bless!
