Great News!

God has really been moving in this program. Originally Vitoria dance school was not supposed to open until January 2008 but since the God we serve is a good God many doors have opened to make it possible for Vitoria dance school to open August 2007. We are still trying to work out arrangements for our facility but I am sure God is going to provide. Details about the dance school and its scheduling will be available soon so keep checking back! We are looking forward to serving you and our community!

To Vitoria’s future trainees, apprentices and company! Jeremiah 29:11-12

I wanted to write to all those who are considering auditioning or joining Vitoria on its mission to spread the victory that we have in Christ through dancing. It is hard and sometimes confusing to do the Lord’s will but I want to encourage you as you are seeking the Lord’s will. You know when God laid on my heart to start this ministry I could think of a million reasons why it was wrong and only one reason why it was right. The one reason was because God showed me when I was really young that this was what I was supposed to do one day and the time is now. After tossing pros and cons back and forth in my head I realized that all those reason why I shouldn’t start this ministry didn’t matter because If God wanted this to be done I would do it.

In Jeremiah 29:11 God says ” For I know the plans I have for you.” God already knows where he wants you to be it is just a matter of you listening and continually seeking him. The word says “seek and you shall find” If you seek God’s will you will find it. You have to be patient sometimes. It took me about three months to make the decision to start this dance program.” Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give hope and a future.” Sometimes it is diffucult to wait on the Lord but we see here God doesn’t want to harm us but to bless us, give us hope and a future. Remember, when you have endured a fierce storm the calm after the storm is even sweeter. Verse 12 says ” Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” Call upon the Lord, pray about the right decision to make and he will listen to you.

God has given me a gift and vision not to selfishly keep for myself but to give to you. Pray, ask the Lord if Vitoria is the future God has for you. I will be praying for each of you continually!

The week of June 25th Vitoria dance company held a workshop at New California Presbyterian Church and it was an amazing week. Students attended from the Marysville, Plain City, and Mt. Vernon areas. We danced a lot , worshipped a lot and learned a lot. Pictures from the workshop will be posted soon!
